I'm sure that anyone who ever played any of Fasa’s board games would be delighted with MechCommander 2. Is the perfect combination of BattleTech science and fiction applied to the real-time tactical wargame. Unlike Mechwarrior predecesors, the player is not inside and responsible for a single Mech, now, he has the duty of leading and commanding many other Mechs and vehicles to achieve any given assignment. As a strategy game, is interesting to play. Unlike other strategy games, where normally you find yourself gathering many troops waiting for the right time to attack and wipe out the enemy, MechCommander 2 requires new strategy and tactics. Then, if the movements are not well thought and performed at the right time, the results can be disastrous. During the mission command, the player has a fixed, isometric view with a better perspective, typical of real-time strategy games, and the graphics themselves are extraordinary. Likewise, audio in MechCommander is, for the most part, perfectly appropriate, diverse, and effective, though at times somewhat repetitive. Even though the game is very easy to be played, MechCommander is astonishingly difficult by any standards when performing the missions, in which firepower is not what decides the battle. For many, the game will prove entirely impossible, while others will become too frustrated to go on. Because the missions are identical every time, you won't like restarting them for long. While there are many different types of missions, from surgical strikes to base defense to rescue operations, having to restart individual scenarios more than half a dozen times makes the game feel more like hard labor. Is a Fasa sealed game that is a guarantee, and many real strategy time players will spend lots and lots of hours playing it. Don’t miss it!
